High School Parent Spectators Guidelines for High School Swim Meets 11/29/21 ● Schools must provide the Aquatic staff with a list by the morning of the event. aquatics@mujc.org or Kappezzato@mujc.org


● 12 Spectators only- Home team parents ● Spectators will enter only after all the athletes are on the deck ● Face masks must be worn at all times


● Spectators must have with them a filled out paper health questionnaire provided by home school or MUJC.


● The Aquatic Coordinator will check health questionnaires, take temperatures and have spectators sign in


● There will be one unisex single use bathroom available for spectators on the third foor.


● Spectators must leave immediately after the last event.


● Once a spectator leaves the aquatic center they will not be allowed to re enter ● When there are multiple meets, spectators will not be allowed in the Aquatic Center until it is cleaned and sanitized.


Spectators must comply with all executive orders regarding indoor limits, face coverings and social distancing. The risk for COVID-19 spread rises with increased close contact with others. The more people who interact , and the longer those interactions last, the higher the risk of COVID-19 spread https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus These guidelines are contingent as new protocols are announced by the NJSIAA, the CDC and the NJ Board of Health. They will be reviewed and changes will be made when necessary.


All swim meets will be Dual Meets, conducted in person following the NJSIAA guidelines. Teams will be seated on opposite sides of the competition pool. One team will swim in Lanes 4, 5 and 6 the other team in Lanes 1, 2 and 3. There will be a limited number of swimmers allowed in the bathroom at a time. Showers will be available. Lockers will not be available. Athletes must keep all belongings with them. The visiting team must provide their attendance records to the Aquatic/Rec Coordinator the day before the meet. Officials must fill out a health form www.mujc.org/health and get a temperature check before entering the building. This will be decided by the coaches, officials and the Pool Operator. At this time we are discussing the possibility of Home team Senior Parent Spectators only. Limit will be 12. NO AWAY SPECTATORS WILL BE PERMITTED. All visiting High School Swim Teams MUST email an attendance roster for the meet to aquatics@mujc.org and MUST cc: Kappezzato@mujc.org. Athletes and coaches are to stay on the bus or in their cars until the entire prior team has exited the building and the Assistant Pool Operator on duty has opened the door for them. Restrooms will be available for spectators in the new building. They can access those through the back doors by the rink. Masks must be worn indoors and are encouraged to be worn when unable to social distance. As of now the only restrictions on the number of spectator capacity is 425.
